The car is regarded as a special after market racing model produced by HKS.
HKS are famous in Japan for producing street legal modifications to standard model cars, engine, body and suspension.
The Mitsubishi factory supplies HKS with a car and they work their magic on it. They are produced in very limited numbers. Normally known as signature series vehicles and are badged as HKS with the name of one of team HKS's pro drivers. The base model for the car is 3000 GTO VRS. The basic HP for the model is 300 but the model I have is rated at 420 HP - 90 mph in 2nd gear and a top speed of over 200 mph.
I purchased the car when it was in the process of an engine re-build and since the purchase I have replaced the teal shock absorbers with normal shocks at a cost of $3,000. I have the original Teals and a spare set of wheels and tyres that would go with the car. I also spent a further £2,000 on a respray back to the original colour.
Since purchasing the car I have not been able to enjoy it due to physical problems and I am sad to sell it but I would like it to a good enthusiast's home.
